Out of hours

Not all unexpected major social care problems happen during normal office hours or can wait until the next day.

That's why we have an Out of Hours Service staffed by people with a good working knowledge and understanding of health and social care services.

This service is available outside normal working hours for anyone who is in danger and unable to protect themselves, or for those who cannot remain in the community without immediate intervention.

We have a dedicated telephone line to our Emergency Duty Team available to provide a county-wide service outside of normal working hours on 01733 234724 including:

• weekdays (Monday-Friday) 5.00pm to 9.00am
• available all weekends
• available all Bank Holiday

Each call to the team is dealt with by an experienced and qualified Social Worker who is able to gain access to residential, day and peripatetic support if necessary.
